Wow!

Hey everybody! sorry I haven't been on lately it has been crazy busy at the Cobb household! Dylan earned his bobcat badge in scouts and his pumpkin patch for helping carve pumpkins with the elderly. He is pretty proud of himself answer so are we! We went to my cousins for turkey day as we always do and i sure did have a good time! the kids were well behaved, food was good and i had an enjoyable time spent with family :-) My grandma (brave woman) watched my boys for me so i could black Friday shop. That was crazy! I have been going since i was a kid with my mom and it has never been so busy and packed! My friend went with me as she has never gone before and was just taking it all in lol I snagged some really good deals on stuff not needed but have been wanting :-) I got a 129$ soundbar for 49$ a couple video games for cheap a couple movies a igo ipod speaker/case and some box live gold memberships for dirt cheap :-) it was worth it and surprisingly i didn't sleep the whole day away the next day lol. I have been doing really well with AVON and enjoying every minute being able to service my customers make new ones and doing vendor fairs. I think vendor fairs are my favorite selling part. I also am loving the fact i am making enough that i won't have to go back to a traditional job again! My kids are important to me and i am glad i can help support my family and still be there for them. Like this Monday Dylan has a parade he's gonna be in with boyscouts, if i worked the job i used to chances are i wouldve had to work that night. Instead i get to go to the parade with him and do the activities they have going on in town how neat is that? I am truly blessed and have God to thank for helping me be a success as a home based business owner. Anyways, I am excited for Dylan to do the parade and germ to help decorate the float and he is too. Aj is an honorary scout and gets to go do the activities with Dylan dorm scouts which he thinks is awesome :-) I hope to be writing in here more often :-) sorry its been so long. Have a blessed day!

Been awhile...

Sorry, it's been awhile since I've been on here. My life has been crazy busy these past couple weeks. Kids keep getting sick, I keep getting sick... meh!!! Dylan had his Pack meeting the 10th of this month and earned his popcorn sales badge as well as his red vest! :) He was beaming from ear to ear. We were busy this whole past weekend, we had a fall festival that I took the boys to. They got to go on a hayrack ride, make smores, had hotdogs chips and cookies for dinner, got to play on inflatable rides, face paintings, puppet shows, paint pumpkins, and go on a firetruck and ambulance :) Saturday morning I participated in a vendor fair. I did pretty good in my opinion. 200$ in sales :) The whole point of the vendor fair was to raise money for the food bank here in town we managed to raise between table fees, bake sale, and raffle 527$ for the food bank! Think what they can do with that much money! Saturday night was my cousins annual bonfire, he had a haunted house that the kids got a kick out of, there was a band that played they were pretty good, and we had food to munch on there as well :) Then, last night was trick or treating!!! Boy oh boy the kids hit the jackpot! Three grocery bags later they were pooped out and so was mom! I am still doing my AVON but, will be signing up to sell thirty-one gifts in two weeks. I am mainly doing it b/c I wanted a couple bags but they cost like 89$ for just the two bags vs 99$ for the entire kit that comes with like 10 different bags and includes the two bags I wanted! I like their products and have had a couple friends say they need a rep b/c they can't ever find one so I figured worse comes to worse I will make extra cash with it and get the bags I wanted for a decent price :) I may even decide to make it my full time venture and do AVON part time but for now I love AVON products and opportunity :) I am getting excited for the holidays! I cannot believe Turkey day is in three weeks?! I'm ready for it just can't believe it! Well, I hope this week is a little more mellow so I can post on here :) Have a good day! :)

Where did this week go?!

Seems, like I just woke up and it was Monday and here it is Friday!!! I got my house organized and rearranged... so hard to do when  you first move into a place... Least for me it is... I like the way it is set up now though, more comfortable and more convenient... I really wish I had a storage shed though it would help quite a bit!!! Even though we have a house we don't have a basement or a place to store stuff so I kinda feel like I'm in an apartment, only I have a yard! lol So, anyways our week was a decent one. Had my cousin Michael stay the night Wednesday, Andrew and him ended up staying up the whole night playing the campaign for gears of war 3. They seem to get along pretty well. :) A.J. kept calling Michael hey man... which was funny. Tomorrow Dylan gets to go out with his pack to pick a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch and decorate them with the elderly at the nursing home here in town. He will enjoy that he loves "old people" and they seem to get a kick outta him.. I am still doing my AVON and doing pretty decent with it. Course, I need to recruit more people. So, I plan on using one of the mornings A.J. is in class to go recruiting in Boone. As like most people, my dream has always been to be my own boss and run my own business.... I am working to get to this goal, mind you there have been some "bumps and snags" along the way but I really feel I'm doing something right for a change. Which scares me because I'm so used to messing everything up or having everything go sour for me..... I am also getting back into crocheting and thinking about selling some of my projects :) I will be making scarves, and hats, and blankets and anything else somebody requests :) so keep watching for when I come out with my stuff ;) Anyways, sorry if this wasn't very "well put together" but, I wanted to post on here as I'm trying to keep family/friends as updated as possible! :)

Whew!

So, my weekend was interesting.... I helped a friend move her stuff outta her ex boyfriends garage.... Which took up my Saturday.. Glad to have it done though she was ready to close the final chapter on that book.... We also got her box springs for her bed! I made bacon and eggs for my mom afterwards for watching my boys all day for me while I helped Tiffany move her stuff. Sunday was kinda a chill day.. Dylan had stayed with mom overnight on Saturday so it was just Drew, AJ and me. Which was nice Dylan likes his time with grandma and it's nice to have just one of the kids. She takes each boy usually one on one weekend and one on the next weekend. So that I can have one on one with a child while she has the other. Which honestly I'm grateful for. AJ is learning to spell his name as well as write in general. I am so proud of him. He's also still doing awesome in school :) Which is a plus. Dylan is doing better and better everyday in school which I'm happy for. He also has been doing really well on his test work as well as school work :) He's smart though so I would expect nothing less than to do a good job outta him :) Anyways, I've been going through a lot of stuff in my house trying to get rid of what we don't use/want anymore. I don't have the space for it and certainly don't have the storage. Which is fine as my dad always said if you have to box it you probably won't use it. Which is true for the most part besides holiday stuff... I am really wanting a new tree this year.... Our tree was destroyed in sewer water at a house we had in Cherokee... So, I'm hoping we can get a new one this year... doesn't have to be huge or anything special just a tree. :) I'm also looking forward to Halloween! I love Halloween! It's my favorite holiday! :) I can hardly believe the Holidays are just around the corner... Where does the time go? Course I love the holidays.. It makes it so family actually spends time together and it's just nice :) I am doing really well with AVON. Which btw we're hiring for the holidays :) Only 10$ to start what a great investment and what better time than holidays to get started? Wanna know more let me know :) Anyways, I really don't have anymore to talk about so I suppose I'll get off here ;)

Avon Come Home For The Holidays/Boyscouts/weekend in general

Well, I went to the AVON come home for the holidays event yesterday for our district! Wow it was soooo much fun! I won some products and got some neat ideas for selling product! :) My mom went with me and I was glad she did. She was uncomfortable bc of falling the other day, which I'm hoping she heals up soon! Can you believe AVON has been around for 125 years?! That's crazy! Anyways, after the event I went and picked my boys up to do cubscouts for Dylan. He is learning responsibility and teamwork! He did an activity which taught him patience and teamwork where they had to use boards to get across grass that had "alligators" in it spin a wheel to get all the colors pull an "assignment" out of a backpack and throw balls in a bin. He also helped build a bonfire and put picnic tables together. Even AJ got into it :) Dylan didn't get to enjoy the marshmallow roast or hotdogs bc he got sick and so did I but there will be other events he can do. :) He's really getting into boyscouts. Which I'm glad I'm able to have him participate in it. AJ wants to be in it already so it's cool they let him participate in some of the stuff so he feels like he's getting to do it :) Today has been kind of a "lazy" day. We're still not 100% on our "A game" but, we're trudging through it :) Hopefully we'll all be well again at my house! Oh yea! I am gonna get back into my photography. I've kinda slid away from it with AVON but, it's my passion and I love doing it! For now, I'm just gonna hobby it up again... Next spring will be great to get my name out there especially with the small town I live in ;) Anyways, I think everybody is caught up now! :) Have a splendid rest of Sunday :)

A little about my crazy family

So, I thought for my *first* blog I'd post a little about my family. I am a sahm to two wonderful little boys. Dylan, my oldest, is 7 and a very stubborn determined little man. He'd rather figure things out on his own than have anybody show him what to do. He's very into video games and taking things apart just to put em back together... A.J., my youngest, is 4. Very loving and easy tempered. He's never in a rush to get anywhere or do anything. My husband is Andrew. He works very hard at Walmart in overnight electronics. My boys take after him quite a bit bc he is very stubborn but also even tempered. These three men are the joys of my life :) I am Stephanie. I am not only a sahm mom but, also a representative with AVON. :)  So I will try to keep the ladies updated with the AVON aspect of my life through my blog as well. :) Avon does offer a wonderful opportunity to be able to stay home with your children while still helping to provide an income for your household. comment below if you want more info on the opportunity AVON offers.  Anyways back to my family... My oldest is in cubscouts this year and very excited about it :) I am too! He'll get to do camping trips, fishing, races, and more which will be good for him bc he's a very active little boy! I'll try to keep everyone posted with what activities he's doing with cubscouts. A.J. is in preschool this year and doing very good with it. He's proud of himself that he's a big boy and learning new things. I am proud of him bc he's making friends and doing good in school :) I also, like to take the boys on walks or to just play outside. I do a lot of reading as well :) So if anybody wants to know what books I'm currently on just ask! I will try to write a review of the book I'm currently on! Anyways, I hope to keep this as up to date as possible :) Have a wonderful day!
